HTPO's full service planning, design and construction team consists of civil engineers, land surveyors, landscape architects, construction managers, planners, client managers, drafting and administrative staff, along with solid leadership that has guided the company for over three decades.

HTPO currently has the following positions available:

 

LAND SURVEY CAD TECHNICIAN

Do you enjoy computer drafting and have an interest in surveying and mapping?  Are you detailed oriented and have good organizational skills?   

HTPO has an exciting opportunity for you!

In a typical day you will:

  • Coordinate with a high-quality team of surveyors
  • Setup drawings and work with survey field data
  • Draft boundary and topographic surveys, plats and easement exhibits
  • Assist with boundary and area computations

You need to have:

  • 2 years minimum experience with AutoCAD, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Civil 3D or MicroStation experience a plus
  • Strong math skills
  • Proficient verbal and written English skills
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple assigned projects

LAND SURVEYING MANAGER

Are you driven to produce quality work? Do you believe in the importance of integrity and honesty? Do you love variety and challenges? HTPO has a terrific opportunity for you!

In a typical day you will:

  • Work with clients and manage projects
  • Mentor and supervise technical staff
  • Prepare and oversee a wide variety of surveys
  • Provide technical expertise, quality control and quality assurance
  • Coordinate with leadership/management team

You need to have:

  • Ten years of experience in land surveying
  • Three years of experience in project management
  • Degree in land surveying or related field
  • Professional Licensure in Minnesota for Land Surveying
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
