In preparation for the reconstruction of Grand Avenue, HTPO performed a full topographic survey for design on approximately 2.2 miles of Grand Avenue from Lake Street South to 48th Street South.

HTPO has worked on many improvements for this park over time.  Most recently we worked on the pavilion reconstruction, site and parking lot improvements, and pickleball courts. Our previous work includes an ADA accessible playground area, open air amphitheater, utilities, lighted ballfield, parking lot and sledding hill.

HTPO provided preliminary and final design, preparation of construction documents, wetland fill/mitigation, and cost estimate for a new sidewalk.

HTPO provided boundary and topographic survey for the entire length of the Nicollet Mall redevelopment.  Services included concrete testing, manhole inspections, areaway and utility locates, and survey control. 

HTPO provided concept design, cost estimates, permitting, construction documents, construction administration, staking, and inspection for Flying Cloud Ballfields expansion for additional sports fields along with road, parking lots, and stormwater infiltration improvements.

HTPO provided drainage analysis, wetland impact plan, design, construction documents, construction administration, and inspection for replacement of a culvert via tunneling under Homeward Hills Road and an existing MCES trunk sewer.

HTPO services included design, surveying, construction documents, permitting and construction administration for relocation of trails, ballfields, site access, and parking due to road expansion. Upgrades included infiltration ponds, irrigation and drinking fountains. 

HTPO provided topographic survey, Land Swap documents, landscape architecture, civil engineering, construction staking, and inspection for this remodel and expansion and ballfield relocation including stadium, irrigation, and engineered soil field. 

Landscape plan for a new hockey arena addition including a plaza and entry design that will provide the community center an information gathering space and seating for community center users.

This project consisted of a feasibility report and development of construction documents - site plan, demolition plan, street and utilities profile plans, and storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP).

This project consisted of a feasibility report, final design, preparation of construction documents, permit applications, and cost estimates for a new street extension.

HTPO provided design, survey, easement documents, construction administration, and construction staking for this 2,400 foot roadway bordering the Purgatory Creek floodplain. This project included intersection improvements, pedestrian facilities, utility improvements, and reconstruction of parking lot. 

HTPO provided civil engineering and land surveying for street and storm sewer reconstruction.

This lift station reconstruction involved several difficult challenges, including maintaining continuous sewer flow from SuperValu's large commercial complex and containing construction impacts to a very limited area along a county road. 

New 16” watermain installed by directional drilling to complete an important loop in the City distribution system.
