Consistent with CRWD’s 2010 Watershed Management Plan and Stream Corridor Restoration section, HTPO was tasked with providing both a technical assessment and design recommendations for daylighting options along Phalen Boulevard in conjunction with stormwater quality BMP opportunities and constraints along this portion of the Rush Line BRT.

Restoration of approximately 250 feet of the existing South Branch of Nine Mile Creek between Bryant Lake Drive and TH 212 including replacement of culvert end sections, grading, boulder cross vanes, live staking, brush wattles, turf establishment, invasive species control and plantings.

Topography of pond bottoms, feasibility report, coordination of sediment testing, construction documents and construction administration, staking, and inspection for sediment removal in two bays of this lake.

HTPO provided drainage analysis, wetland impact plan, design, construction documents, construction administration, and inspection for replacement of a culvert via tunneling under Homeward Hills Road and an existing MCES trunk sewer.

HTPO provided design, surveying, and inspection for creek bank stabilization, upstream pond expansion, and erosion control to minimize sediment transport into Christmas Lake.  

Restoration of a deteriorated stream channel to improve erosion control and restore habitat for plants and wildlife with native trees, shrubs, and grasses. 

Management and Operations Plan for multi-purpose water management, wildlife management, and recreation area. 

Expansion and creation of these wetland mitigation areas required excavation, stormwater management, extensive vegetation thinning, removal of exotic plants, regrading, and replanting with native wetland species vegetation and upland buffer plantings.  

Inspection and construction recommendations for approximately 525 drainage structures along I-694 between I-35W and Highway 100.  HTPO provided written and visual documentation. 

Drainage study, preliminary design options, topography, construction documents, permitting, construction administration, staking and inspection for sediment removal, grading, and storm sewer replacement for this regional pond within the golf course.

HTPO provided boundary and topographic survey, construction documents, construction administration, construction staking, and record drawings/as-builts for an expansion of a regional pond.

HTPO provided topographic survey of ravine, drainage and erosion analysis, expert witness for mediation, and construction documents, staking, and inspection for storm sewer improvements.
